Opening comments and excitement on the first day of the show resounded throughout the tradeshow floor with reports of record attendance of almost 30,000 people. We were very pleased with our booth placement at the front entrance of the show sandwiched between Samsung and Meyer Sound. This position allowed us to capture many systems integrators, consultants, and end users getting a closer look at some of our new products. Our products of most interest were the new portable S-1608 Digital Snake System, followed by our V-44SW Video Switcher used stand alone or in the multi-screen environment. Customers were also impressed with the speed and versatility of the VC-300HD/VC-200HD Video Converters. Both JVC and Technologies for worship requested to display and demonstrate them in their booth at the show. Busy RSG Booth at InfoComm RSG in partnership with Ramtech displayed the multi-pin connection options for the S-4000 Digital Snake System . Available in both Ramtech’s Ramlatch and Whirlwind’s W4 connector configurations, these new multi-pin options for the RSS Digital Snake allow for quick setup and dismantling in all types of live sound environments.

RSG was the video sponsor for the Technologies for Worship. The V-440HD Video Mixer mixed multiple video sources and routed video to multiple screens. The CG-8 Visual Synthesizer gained some attention with churches because of the flexibility, ease of use, and creative content production on the fly. The VC-300 converted HD-SDI from the stage camera in real-time allowing it to be mixed as one of the sources in the V-440HD Video Mixer.
Edirol at Technologies for Worship
Vaddio designs, manufacturers of camera control systems and specialty cameras used in conferencing, used the Edirol V44-SW Video Switcher controlled by their pan, zoom, and tilt control system to switch different camera sources. The President Rob Sheeley, was impressed by the number of customers that wanted their complete integrated system using the V-440SW.
